Agreement
GopherPages is a division of Data Global, a U.K. based company. All legal issues related to these Terms of Use shall be determined by the U.K. law and legal system, and full jurisdiction is given to the U.K. courts.
GopherPages, the GopherPages logo, Data Global and the Data Global logo are all trademarks of Data Global. All contents of the GopherPages web site, including but not limited to text, graphics and logos, are protected by copyright law unless clearly stated otherwise. Content submitted by Business Users including but not limited to company names, logos, and externally linked web sites, are copyright to their owner.
By placing an ad with GopherPages, the Business User agrees to be bound by these terms of use. Please read these terms in full before placing your advertisement with GopherPages. All advertisers are required to place a mark in the checkbox on the advertising application form to indicate having read and agreed with these terms. Any violation of these terms will result in termination of service and withdrawal of the on-line ad.
By accessing this site, the General User accepts and agrees to be bound by these terms of use. If you do not agree to this, please do not access the web site.
These terms of use are subject to change. If you use the site regularly, please be sure to check these terms periodically.
Business Users
GopherPages web site does not carry other than business advertising as content. Advertising is purchased on a montly, quarterly, or yearly basis and must be paid for in full in advance. Business Users will be charged an advertising fee and an administration fee. The administration fee is non-refundable. Advertising fees may be refunded in certain cases within seven working days after placement of an order, providing the ad has not yet been placed on the web site.
All Business Users will be issued with a copy of their service contract including their unique customer reference number and account username and password. Any correspondence sent to the GopherPages administration must include the reference number, and Business Users may be asked for their account password when contacting the administration team by telephone. On-line updating of advertisements also requires the Username and Password.
Advertising content is solely the responsibility of the Business User. Please double-check all ad details before submitting them to the web site. GopherPages does not take any responsibility, nor can we be held accountable for the correctness, accuracy, or content of the advertisements. Further, GopherPages reserves the right to remove any advertising which is or may be seen to be illegal, immoral, inaccurate (at time of submitting) criminal, or offensive in any way. GopherPages does not permit the promotion of any adult or age-restricted items, including, but not limited to, tobacco, alcohol, and gambling. Business Users advertising such services will have their ads removed. Business Users must not impersonate or pose as any other company, individual, or entity. GopherPages also reserves the right to take legal action against any Business User who attempts to place any such advertising, especially if the intention is to defame GopherPages, its owner, Data Global, or any of its Business or General users or members of the public.
General Users
All content of advertising on GopherPages is the responsibility of the advertiser and not of GopherPages. GopherPages does not recommend, endorse, or vouch for the companies which advertise on the web site. Any disputes or complaints arising from misleading or inaccurate information within the purchased advertisements must be taken up with the advertiser directly. GopherPages will not be held accountable in any way.
Information presented on the web site is intended for personal use only. General Users must not use the data found on this web site for the purposes of telemarketing, direct mailing, "spam", or any other business soliciting. GopherPages takes no responsibility for any loss or damage arising from the use of the businesses advertising on the web site. Any opinions expressed by Business Users whether in advertising or directly to customers are their own and not necessarily those of GopherPages.

Terms & Conditions
- These conditions shall apply to all advertisements accepted for publication in Gopher Pages Magazine. Any other term of condition proposed shall not be valid unless specifically accepted in writing by the publisher, Data Global, 6 Hill View, Pentrebane, Cardiff CF5 3UB.
- Data Global is a UK based company. These terms and conditions and any other terms of the contract between the publisher and the advertiser shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and full jurisdiction is given to the UK courts.
- Gopher Pages, Data Global and their logos are all trademarks of Data Global. All media contents, including but not limited to text, graphics and logos, are protected by copyright law unless clearly stated otherwise. Content provided by the customer, including but not limited to company names, logos, and externally linked web sites, are copyright to their owner.
- By signing this contract, the customer agrees to be bound by these terms. Please read these terms in full before signing. Any violation of these terms will result in termination and withdrawal of services.
- For the purpose of these terms and conditions, ‘advertiser’ shall refer to the advertiser, its employees or its agent, whichever is the principal.
- Advertisements are accepted subject to the publisher’s approval of the copy and the space being available. Advertisements for any age-restricted services or products, including but not limited to alcohol, tobacco, adult entertainment, and gambling, will not be accepted for publication.
- The publisher reserves the right to omit or suspend an advertisement at any time if, in its opinion, there is a good reason. If the publisher exercises its right under this clause, any claim on the part of the advertiser for damages or breach of contract shall not be entertained.
- The publisher reserves the right, when strictly necessary, to modify the space or alter the position of any advertisement, or to change the date of publication of the magazine. Every effort will be made to notify advertisers of such changes, however no right of cancellation will be afforded the advertiser in such circumstances.
- Every care is taken to avoid mistakes; however the publisher accepts no liability for any errors, omissions, or inaccurate copy instructions on the part of third parties or subcontractors. It will not compensate for advertisements which do not comply with the specifications.
- The advertiser warrants that its advertisement does not contravene any law, nor is it in any way illegal or defamatory or an infringement of any other party’s rights or an infringement of the British Code of Advertising and Sales Promotion.
- The advertiser will indemnify the publisher fully in respect of any claim made against the publisher arising from or in relation to the advertisement. The publisher will consult the advertiser as to the way in which such claims are to be handled.
- Any sums due will be invoiced by the publisher directly to the advertiser and must be paid within 14 days of the invoice date.
- All advertisement artwork and copy is to be supplied to the publisher within seven (7) working days of the contract signing. The publisher can, by agreement, provide artwork and copywriting services to the advertiser. In such cases, charges will be made to the advertiser at the agreed rate. Copyright of such work will remain with Data Global, however the advertiser may negotiate to purchase the copyright at the discretion of the publisher.
- Copyright of all media design, artwork, photographs, etc, provided by the advertiser will remain with the owners of the work.
- If an advertiser wishes to cancel or reduce the size of an advertisement, it will be liable for the total cost of the original booking, unless two weeks’ notice is given before the final artwork deadline.
- If instructions are not received by the agreed copy date, no guarantee can be given that corrections will be made, and the publisher reserves the right to insert what is, in its opinion, the most appropriate copy, or alternatively to use the copy supplied for previous editions.
